About our Photo Tours

Adventures thru the Lens Photo Tours are Urban Adventures. The goal is for travelers to:


• Discover and experience a city through the eyes of a local photographer.
• Encourage the observation of new viewpoints and interesting details which might easily be overlooked.
• To improve photography technique.
• To have a more interesting experience and involvement when visiting a city.
• Have fun
 

Our English-speaking Photographers have in-depth local knowledge, a passion for their city and for the art of photography. Photographers are carefully selected for their breadth of style and experience in either travel or photo-documentary/reportage.

Half Day Photography Adventures Tours in
Seville

Some of the things you will learn:

  • how to work with light and shadows in a creative way

Seville thru the lens - Become Sevillian for a Day

We will walk the historical city from the medieval walls southward to the main landmarks, following the ancient cardus of the Roman Hispalis. We will discover the north half of the historic city, less famous than the postcard Seville, but plenty of unique buildings and, more important yet, unique people. We will visit taverns and markets, baroque and mudejar gothic churches as well as Renaissance palaces and monasteries. We will try to become as Sevillian as we can. Highlights inlcude: Macarena Gate and Walls, San Luis street, San Luis de los Franceses church, Santa Marina, San Marcos and San Román churches, Feria street market, Alameda de Hércules, Santa Paula and Santa Isabel convents, San Vicente and San Lorenzo quarters, the Fine Art Museum.


STARTING POINT: The Macarena Gate - located in the extreme northern point of the former walls round, very close to the Macarena basilica.

ENDING POINT: Royal Tobacco Factory (University)

Sunday : 9:00am - 1:00pm

Additional Information

• Participants must have a basic knowledge of their cameras.
• We reserve the right to change the route based on local conditions.
• Tours leave rain or shine. In extreme conditions please call the local number.
• We suggest good walking shoes, a lightweight poncho, in case it rains and in high temperatures a small bottle of water & sun hat.
• A lightweight tripod is recommended for evening sessions
• Clients who have not booked this activity in conjunction with a hotel are advised to provide contact details.
• Cancellation fees may apply.
