Bridge.
We walk South around the rear of St. Paul's Cathedral towards the
Millennium Bridge. Striking images of the bridge and St. Paul¹s
and the bridge can be taken all the way a long this route. The
views from the middle of the Millennium Bridge particularly
towards Tower Bridge are superb. We then walk along the South bank
past the Globe Theatre, past Winchester Palace and Francis
Drake¹s ship The Golden Hind London where the mix of contemporary
and medieval makes spectacular images. The tour continues over
London Bridge, past HMS Belfast and ends at probably the most
spectacular parts of London to photograph, Tower Bridge and the
new City Hall development. If time we review the images in detail
together in one of the local cafes below Tower Bridge.
The Best of the Thames
Meet at Waterloo station, under the main
clock at exit 3 at the Red Post Box in front of Costa Coffee and
end at Westminster tube on the corner of Westminster Bridge.
We walk from the station to the London Eye and photograph the Eye,
Westminster Bridge, and Big Ben from the South Bank. Along the
South Bank excellent photographs can be taken and also from the
Hungerford footbridge. The trip continues past the National
Theatre and up to Waterloo Bridge. The views from Waterloo Bridge
towards the east are fabulous at any time of day. Along the North
Embankment towards Cleopatra's needle and Westminster Bridge we
stop several times along the way to shoot the bridges, the Eye and
Big Ben. At this point we stop for coffee at the Embankment café
and take a detailed look at your images in Photoshop. The trip
finishes at Westminster tube on the corner of Westminster Bridge.
